Groundwork is where most projects go wrong. Interface gaps between demolition, drainage, and foundation contractors cause delays, cost overruns, and contractual disputes. Our turnkey approach closes those gaps entirely.
Site Clearance & Demolition
Vegetation clearance, demolition of existing structures, decommissioning, and site strip. Licensed asbestos management. Ecological mitigation where required.
Bulk Excavation & Earthworks
GPS-guided cut-and-fill to formation level. Tracked excavators up to 30t. Spoil management, muck-away, and imported fill to specification.
Drainage Systems
Foul and surface water drainage networks, attenuation tanks, soakaways, SUDS, and adoptable sewers under S104/S106 agreement with Severn Trent.
Foundations
Strip, trenchfill, raft, pad, and piled foundations. Designed to SE specification and built to warranty provider and building control standards on residential schemes.
Oversite & Slab Construction
Ground-bearing slabs, DPM, insulation, steel mesh reinforcement. Power-floated or tamped finish to commercial or residential specification.
External Works & Highways
Car parks, shared surfaces, access roads, kerbing, drainage, and landscaping sub-base. Section 278 works on adopted highways.

From site survey to oversite slab
We take the below-ground programme and run it as a single operation, survey, set out, dig, drain, found, and slab. One foreman. One programme. One contract.
Site Survey & Ground Investigation
Topographical survey, ground investigation (trial pits and boreholes), assessment of Midlands geology, from Mercia Mudstone to made ground.
Setting Out & Enabling
GPS-controlled setting out, site access roads, site welfare, perimeter hoarding, and topsoil strip. Site ready for production.
Bulk Earthworks
Reduced-level dig to formation, cut-and-fill, spoil management, and imported fill specification. CBR testing and compaction records.
Drainage Installation
Foul and surface water runs, manholes, attenuation cells, soakaways. Coordination with Severn Trent for adoptable sewer agreements.
Foundation Construction
Excavation, blinding, reinforcement, and concrete for foundations. Structural engineer inspections and warranty and building control compliance managed by our team.
Oversite & Slab
DPM, insulation, mesh reinforcement, and concrete oversite to specified flatness and strength. Ready for superstructure commencement.
